Etrel, a leading developer of smart EV charging solutions, and Ocean EV Charging Platform have officially become independent companies, with Ocean operating as a standalone entity as of October 1, 2025. This strategic carve-out allows both organizations to focus more clearly on their core missions, customers, and innovation. 

As an independent entity, Etrel continues to operate as before, with no changes to its legal or operational setup. Ocean starts its journey as a newly established company under the same ownership as Etrel, with its own governance, financial structures, operational systems, taking over all the customer relationships tied to providing the Ocean platform and related services. Customers and partners will notice changes such as separate invoicing, about which you will be separately informed. Employees and customer relationships have been appropriately transferred to their respective companies. Both companies are managing their own data and compliance responsibilities, including GDPR, with short-term transitional services in place where needed to ensure a smooth handover. 

The move is driven by a shared vision to better serve partners, customers, and markets, while accelerating the development of innovative, future-ready EV charging solutions.
