SMART V2G: SMART VEHICLE TO GRID INTERFACE

We were starting to see more and more charging stations in cities across Europe. But how could we make sure that electric vehicles will be charged in a safe, controlled and sustainable manner?

The SMARTV2G project provided the answer by demonstrating the operation of a smart charging station that allows charge point operators to remotely monitor the status of their assets and control the charging process of their clients via a dedicated control centre software.

ETREL CONTRIBUTION

The main objective of the project aimed at enabling controlled flow of energy and power to electric vehicle’s battery through safe, secure, energy effcient and convenient transfer of electricity and data.
