ICT 4 EV EU: ICT SERVICES FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE ENHANCING THE USER EXPERIENCE

Drivers of electric vehicles today have to carry with them an increasing number of ID cards to authorise charging
on stations operated by different providers, not to mention several bilateral contracts they need to sign beforehand.

The roaming platform developed within the ICT4EVEU project introduces the Global Service Provider for
electromobility, which enables EV drivers to use all charging infrastructure with a single ID card and a one contract with their chosen service provider. Within the ICT4EVEU project, the roaming platform was implemented in the Slovenian pilot that is taking place alongside two other pilots in the UK and Spain. The roaming system developed is highly scalable and was expanded over national borders.

In this project, Etrel expanded its activities and products with ICT solutions in the field of interoperability between different e-mobility actors and their back-end systems.
