PROJECT OVERVIEW

Elektro Ljubljana, as the leading electricity distribution company in Slovenia, was one of the first movers in the field of electric mobility. In 2014 the company started to build an EV charging network in Slovenia in cooperation with municipalities. Slowly a nation-wide “Gremo na Elektriko” e-mobility service offer was available for first EV adopters. Today Elektro Ljubljana manages over 150 charging spots across the country with both payable and free options. Users can register offline for an RFID card or via the mobile app for more convenient on-the-go use.

ETREL SOLUTION

Elektro Ljubljana was looking for a flexible software solution, that would grow with their expanding services and help position their brand as a reliable e-mobility provider.

Etrel OCEAN offered all the tools needed for managing their charging network, from charging locations monitoring and maintenance, to handling support tasks and user management. With advanced Billing and Payment module in OCEAN, Elektro Ljubljana set different pricing for their charging services. Pricing is set based on user contracts and location, which eases the transition from free to payable charging for growing EV community.

With OCEAN app, Gremo na elektriko users gained more convenient access to charging points without the need for »another« RFID card. The app also offers more transparent pricing information, increasing trust in the Gremo na elektriko service offering.
