After being recognized as the fastest-growing company in the Central Slovenia region, Etrel has now also received the Silver Gazela, the acknowledgment for being the second fastest-growing company in the whole of Slovenia. In the last 5 years, Etrel has increased its revenue by 25 times, which puts the company at the top of the fastest-growing companies in Slovenia.

Etrel’s development was driven by a passion for innovation and a vision of sustainable mobility, the enormous potential of which founders Miha Levstek, CEO, and Borut Mehle, CTO, realized early on. The company’s vision was to develop advanced charging technologies that will co-create a world where all personal transport is powered by renewably sourced electricity.

Gazela, organised by Dnevnik, is the oldest and largest Slovenian project that distinguishes companies for their rapid growth. This year it celebrates its 22nd anniversary. Fast-growing companies cannot apply for selection but are included in the list of fastest-growing companies based on balance sheet data. More specifically, they are ranked based on revenue growth over a five-year period. In this way, the ranking of the 500 fastest-growing companies in Slovenia and six regional rankings of the 100 fastest-growing companies in the region is created.
