Grosuplje, Slovenia –September 29, 2022 – Etrel, a Landis+Gyr company, a leading provider of integrated e-mobility solutions, and Toyota Motor Europe, the European branch of the leading global car manufacturer, enter cooperation to offer Etrel OCEAN Charge Point Management System as a verified solution to Toyota’s dealerships across Europe.

To bolster the rollout of their new electric vehicle (EV) range, Toyota has initiated various supporting services, including fleet charging and access to public charging infrastructure for new customers. For managing and controlling charging station operations, Toyota National Marketing and Sales companies will now be able to adopt Etrel’s charging management platform OCEAN. The system will ensure a unified service offering across national organisations in several onboarded European markets like Norway and the United Kingdom.

The partnership and OCEAN platform enable Toyota’s National Marketing and Sales companies to have a complete overview of national operations while at the same time offering limited autonomy to local charging initiatives from national dealerships. Adopting OCEAN as a sole-source system for all locations offers additional benefits, from enabling better employee mobility and internal communication, optimized roll-out and maintenance to the ability to open its network to roaming for access to public charging.
