PROJECT OVERVIEW
In the city of Tbilisi, Georgia, the majority of taxi services runs on electric due to accessible and inexpensive charging services. Despite the affordability of the taxi service, such service is not the most convenient solution for urban families that would like to take a weekend trip out of town or tourists that would like to explore the city and its surrounding.
AiCar stepped up to the challenge to provide a convenient solution for longer-distance trips while promoting clean mobility with an EV carsharing that delivers on the affordable price and comfortable driving experience.
Ai CarSharing was a big success with a smooth registration process and fuss-free rental service. Their coverage quickly expanded from Tbilisi to Batumi with several carsharing locations and 100 charging spots.
ETREL SOLUTION
With their own back end system that oversees the whole scope of service, Ai Car was looking for compact public charges that could be seamlessly integrated into the existing SW infrastructure via OCPP.
To provide the best car sharing experience and reduce the complexity AiCar choose INCH Pro chargers with charging cable. OCPP connectivity and charger communication options including G4 LTE, allow integration and management from their management platform, including charging activation via the mobile app.
Distinct and recognisable design of INCH chargers allows Ai Car to stand out on the street and reinforce the progressive message behind the brand.
